كيف أختار بين جسم الفينيل والجسم القماشي؟
الجسم القماشي: للدمية ذات الجسم القماشي رأس وذراعان وساقان من الفينيل، بينما يُصنع الجذع من القماش. يمكن وضع الدمى ذات الجسم القماشي في وضعيات طبيعية أكثر، إذ تتحرك أجسامها بحرية وتنثني بزوايا مختلفة. وعند حملها، تبدو أنعم وأقرب إلى احتضان طفل. وهي مناسبة للعناق، ولتدريب الأمهات الحوامل على حمل الطفل، وللأطفال الذين يستمتعون برعاية دمية تشبه الطفل.
جسم الفينيل: تُصنع الدمية ذات جسم الفينيل بالكامل من مادة الفينيل. يكون الفينيل ناعمًا عند الضغط عليه، لكن هذه النعومة لا تتيح للجسم الحركة بحرية مثل الجسم القماشي، إذ تتحرك المفاصل في اتجاهات ثابتة فقط. عادةً ما تكون دمى جسم الفينيل أنسب للأطفال الذين يلعبون بخشونة أكبر، لأن الفينيل أكثر متانة ومقاومة للتآكل.

The eyes/face, and feet/hands (those little nails!) have great detail. I think the price is on point - it's quality but still a toy my daughter can tote around (and inevitably get dirty) and I don't feel bad about it.

This doll has a very cute face and is a perfect size for a toddler to play with and love. She is realistic and detailed and the vinyl body and limbs make her nicely posable to be played with with a doll stroller, high chair or crib. The vinyl body makes her not quite as huggable as a soft bodied doll, but definitely easier to sit up or move around so offers more play value and less frustration.
